Welcome to Polish Seminary in Paris
The seat of the Polish Seminary in Paris since 1997 has been located in Paris, in south-west suburbs of Paris. The Seminary is a part of the Polish Episcopal Conference which is represented by its president – currently Archbishop Fr. Stanisław Gądecki, metropolitan of Poznań. On 9th of September 2013, Polish Episcopal Conference delegated administration of the Polish Seminary in Paris to Rector of the Polish Catholic Mission in France. On behalf of the Mission, administration of the Polish Seminary in Paris is conducted by Monsignor Dr. Fr. Krystian Gawron – Vice-Rector of the Polish Catholic Mission in France.
Polish Seminary in Paris since its foundation has been concentrated on scientific activity: 1. Priests have worked on doctorates in philosophy, theology and sociology. 2. Theology students (alumnus’) have prepared themselves to priesthood, 3. Students of so called “Lower seminary” (holding the rank of a high school) have obtained school-leaving examination certificates, 4. Missionaries, priests, pilgrims as well as lay people from all over the world have been welcome.
